Aged Care Transformed - 'Bringing back the joy' in aged care

EveryAGE Counts’ senior policy advisor, Sue McGrath, shared her reflections on the issue of ‘Bringing Back the Joy’ in aged care, at LASA’s (Leading Aged Services Australia) March 2021 Forum, Aged Care Transformed – Getting from here to there. 

The Forum was devoted to an in-depth look at what it will take to move from where aged care currently stands, to a transformed system responding to the findings of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, which reported this year.  You can see Sue’s presentation below, which draws on EveryAGE Counts’ perspective that ageism must be addressed as an essential aspect of aged care reform.
